  • Castle View School
  • Chafford Hundred Campus
  • Colchester County High School for Girls
  • The Helena Romanes School
  • Honywood School
  • Mayflower High School
  • The Sweyne Park School
  • Westcliff High School for Girls
Courses in the Autumn Term are listed here

In addition to standard courses, the SLC can offer bespoke courses for a number of staff at your school, or you can join with another school to share costs.explore STEM work closely with the SLC to deliver bespoke, "KS3 Subjects Working Together" courses, the outcome of which is to have developed a personalised, cross-curricula STEM plan to try out in your school.

Courses are funded through Impact Awards until the end of March 2012. The regional Science Learning Centres, on behalf of the Department for Education, are delighted to offer Impact Award bursaries for many of their courses.

Impact Award bursaries of £200 per day for teachers and lecturers and £100 per day for technicians will be available to help you pay for CPD on eligible courses. Course fees are typically only £150 per day for teachers and lecturers, and £110 for technicians, so the Impact Award will pay for your fees and also contribute towards your other costs.
