Embedding STEM Ambassadors - The Gateway Academy

Pilot programme - Thurrock

As part of a national pilot programme funded by STEMNET we are working with The Gateway Academy to embed Ambassadors within the STEM curriculum.

The school are looking for support for many areas so if you would like to get involved with this programme please contact me. Specifically they have given us the events listed below
but there are many other areas too where they would like Ambassadors for example to ensure that their new maths programmes for year 7&8 are relevant to practical uses of maths in industry.

They would be keen to have Ambassadors to help out at any of these in any capacity and are really looking for real-life application and role models to talk about their experiences.

We have a few Ambassadors working closely with the school and they are already making a difference. if you would like to learn more or to get involved please email Jayne at jayne@explorestem.co.uk
