CRB information for Ambassadors

If you are an existing Ambassador who needs to renew your CRB Disclosure, or a volunteer who wishes to register to become an Ambassador, you will need to have an enhanced level CRB clearance.

The application for this has now been made simpler via an online disclosure system where you can enter your personal information securely. We will then arrange to visit you to check identification, give you training where relevant and so on.

Visit https://disclosure.capitarvs.co.uk/stemnet  and select option 1 to start the application process.

All of this is covered in the guidance document but please note that "Organisation reference" on the first screen should be entered as "Essex", with password left blank; employer name is "Jayne Foster Limited" (the Essex contract holder, NOT the company you work for) and the position applied for should be "SCHOOL SCIENCE AMBASSADOR".
